Toddlers like to be independent!  Children at this age are curious about the world around them and a great deal of their day is spent exploring and learning through sensory experiences - touching, tasting, hearing and seeing.  Your child will be encouraged to try new things in their surroundings while learning about the world around them. With the guidance of our experienced teachers they will be introduced to colors, shapes, numbers and letters.  Our curriculum emphasizes language development to help children turn their ideas into words and sentences.

 

Your child will have the opportunity to work on fine and gross motor skills, using manipulatives such as play-doh, beads and puzzles as well as creative art projects.  As your toddler learns and masters how to climb, ride, swing and run, our large fenced-in play area provides them a safe place to develop all their strength, coordination, and agility. Group activities will enhance their socialization skills as they practice taking turns, patience, listening, sharing, creating friendships and speaking kindly to one another. 

 

Our daily routine helps provide the necessary structure as your child develops a secure sense of self.  Activities provided will stimulate critical thinking and foster a positive self-image.  Our toddlers build skills and confidence through educational games, songs, art, music and movement as our teachers provide an outlet for their creative expression.
